Events in 2005

The campaign in Cambodia held a successful workshop with 130 participants on March 15th with members of youth groups, human rights organisations, advocacy and policy groups and community groups. This was followed by a meeting on march 24th to talk about more detailed campaign plans such as broadening participation and engaging with celebrities to support the campaign. The aims of the campaign are to raise awareness in Cambodia, and to train teachers and an MDG network to continue and spread the campaign. Main dates for action have been identified as:

September - Kan Ben Buddhist ceremony in 10 Provinces

November - Water Festival with a concert

December - Human Rights Day with a white band campaign in 10 Provinces
