From 2 to 8 July, Benin kicked off a week of activities themed 'What are you doing to achieve the MDGs?' targeted at policy makers and the public. The main activities organised were sensitisation walks and football matches to make the 8 MDGs more widely known among the public.  A media campaign was also conducted, with many national and local media reporting on the week's activities. Additionally, campaigners led a caravan to the national parliament and State House to highlight their demands in relation to the MDGs.
