Latin American NGOs issue communique to G8 leaders

The Latin American Network on Debt, Development and Rights (LATINDADD) which is a network of institutions and civil society organisations from Latin American countries, has released a communique highlighting that 205 million people in the region still live in conditions of poverty and inequality despite economic growth.
