The International Day for the Eradication of Poverty was marked around the world again this year, with actions in 30 countries. Below, we highlight some actions that were taken to build The World We Want:

October 17th Update From GCAP Japan

In Japan, the SUTA 2012 campaign was held from 1 to 17 October. People did stand up in support of poverty eradication all over the country. About 27,000 people stood up, and around 1,200 events were reported in Japan.

Oct 15-17: Recounting the Past Week's Events and Actions

On October 15th-17th, millions of men, women and children around the world took actions against poverty and inequality in their communities. A snapshot of just a few events are below:
