Post 2015 - Regional HLP Consultation in Mexico
The following text is from a letter distributed by Mexico's Undersecretary for Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights:
The Government of Mexico, in conjunction with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Economic Commission for Latin-America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), has the honor to invite you to the Regional Consultation entitled: “Realizing the Future We Want in Latin America and the Caribbean: Towards a Post-2015 Development Agenda”, which will take place from April 17-20 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
The Regional consultation is part of an inclusive process in which the civil society, private sector, academia, and other relevant stakeholders –from Latin America and the Caribbean Region- could express their vision on how the most crucial topics should be incorporated in the Post-2015 Development Agenda. The governments of Latin America and the Caribbean are invited to attend the consultations as observers. Please find attached the draft Agenda (Annex I) and the Information Bulletin (Annex II) of the Consultation. In the upcoming days you will receive the Consultation’s Concept Note.
