DAY FOR DECENT WORK - OCTOBER 7TH
October 7 is World Day for Decent Work (WDDW). WDDW is an initiative of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), now supported by more than 200 ITUC affiliates and other supporting organisations, including GCAP.
There will be many events taking place in more than 100 countries world wide, with a strong message that decent work is the only sustainable way out of poverty. The website is at http://www.wddw.org
If you are not already doing an event, you can support the campaign by
linking to the WDDW website or publishing a news item about decent
work. GCAP constituents are also encouraged to sign the Call to Action
for Decent Work Decent Life on www.decentwork.org.
