  • 11.11.11.be: Op 24 november nodigen de Verenigde Verenigingen iedereen uit op de Dag van de Verenigingen in Gent. Op het programma staat een verenigingenmarkt, waar je in doe-stands en workshops je licht kan opsteken bij meer dan 75 verenigingen. De dag wordt afgesloten met een optreden van Bart Peeters. Voor dat concert geven we 35 vrijkaarten weg. meer... - Op 8 november - aan de vooravond van het 11.11.11-campagneweekend - keurde de senaat een resolutie goed over de EPA’s. De senaat vraagt een zo groot mogelijke flexibiliteit in de EPA-onderhandelingen. Dit is een belangrijk signaal naar onze duizenden vrijwilligers. Het betekent dat hun ‘neen’ tegen de EPA’s op vrijdag krabdag (26 oktober en de weken erna) gehoord werd tot in het federale parlement. Mocht je het nog niet gedaan hebben, dan kun je nog steeds onze EPA-petitie ondertekenen. meer... - In volle 11.11.11-campagne verscheen het boek boek 'Hoe goed is het goede doel?' De ondertitel luidt: 'Van elke 100 euro in de collectebus van 11.11.11 gaat er één euro naar het Zuiden'. De ondertitel is niet de enige flagrante

  • Bannersagainstpoverty: Over 30 countries from every region of the world created banners that were displayed on October 17, 2007, the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty and the Global White Band Day. On this day, 43.7 million people in 127 countries took action under the slogan Stand Up and Speak Out. The Banners Project was one of many global actions people participated in. Following the successful display of Banners Against Poverty in over 30 countries as part of STAND UP and SPEAK OUT we now have the opportunity to join segments of national banners from around the world for the creation of a Global Banner Against Poverty.
