On behalf of Abibimman Foundation and its Green-Life Clubs (young people's wing of Abibimman Foundation) and the Ghana Trade and Livelihoods Coalition, I humbly invite you to participate in a stakeholders' forum to stimulate debate on what the political parties policies are for young people and children.

The forum which forms part of the Day of the African Child Celebration – 2008, is scheduled for Thursday, June 12 2008 (International Day against Child Labour) at the Rotary Centre, Community 5, Tema, from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm. It will be preceded by a procession of young people and representatives of political parties from the Forecourt of the Tema Municipal Assembly to the venue. The gathering time for the procession is 8:00 am prompt.

The forum offers the platform for political parties to outline to the children and young people of Ghana, what their manifestos have in effectively addressing children and young people's concerns as means of moving the nation's development forward. Abibimman Foundation will also launch its 'Young People's Manifesto' initiative at the forum. The 'Young People's Manifesto' initiative will synthesis and document the agenda of the various manifestos on children and young people's development and enable young people understand and participate in the monitoring and evaluation of the nation's governance processes and systems.

We, children and young people of Ghana will be pleased if you could participate in both the procession and forum to create the needed synergy in moving the nation's development forward.
